1. HORIZONTAL WATERFALLS
Well I’m sure the The Horizontal Waterfalls need no introducing. I have been lucky enough to visit here on numerous occasions in a variety of different ways. I know spoilt right!!! 2. RIDE THE CABLE BEACH CAMELS

3. TAKE A SCENIC FLIGHT
An amazing flight I did with KAS Helicopters. Scenic flights are never the same in the Kimberley. With the tides changing so rapidly, each time you take to the air, you’re in for a different experience. There are many companies that do scenic flights in Helicopters and light aircraft. 4. VISIT THE WILLIE CREEK PEARL FARM
The Willie Creek Pearl Farm is a fantastic day trip from Broome. You can even visit in a half day if you’re strapped for time. They offer coach transfers or you can self-drive. For more info Click here
5. GO FISHING
Fishing is my all-time favourite activity, both land based and boat. If you are looking for a fishing charter. Two of my favourite companies to go with are West Kimberley Fishing Tours and Absolute Ocean Charters. For other ideas then head over to Visit Broome.
6. BROOME HOVERCRAFT
Where else can you tear around on a Hovercraft and look at Dinosaur footprints??? This locally owned and operated business is a Broome Icon and a must when visiting Broome. Get in touch with them Broome Hovercraft Eco Adventure Tours for more information.
7. VISIT THE STUNNING ROWLEY SHOALS
The Rowley Shoals is a group of 3 coral atolls about 260km west of Broome. It is absolute paradise of marine life and has to be seen to be believed . Get in quick for this one; I have a feeling in a few years’ time this will be the next Great Barrier Reef. For companies that visit click here
8. MATSO'S BREWERY
An absolute crime to come to Broome and not have a Matso's Beer. This Broome Brewery is an ICON and churns out consistent flavours and an amazing atmosphere.
9. MALCOLM DOUGLAS CROCODILE PARK
This is one for all the family; we have such a great time EVERYTIME we go to the Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park. They have a variety of different animals to view, just remember, no touching Click here for more info and feeding times.
10. SUN PICTURES

11. CYGNET BAY PEARL FARM
Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm is a little paradise tucked away on the Dampier Peninsula just a couple of hours north of Broome. It offers a variety of accommodation for different budgets. There are campsites, safari tents, pearlers shacks and the INCREDIBLE Master Pearlers house for large groups or a romantic couple’s getaway. It also has a fully licensed restaurant offering a variety of delicious meals with magnificent views over the bay.
12. ECO BEACH RESORT
Eco Beach Resort is a secluded Eco Retreat 130km south of Broome. It is perched on the sand dunes overlooking the Indian Ocean and offers stunning landscapes and perfect sunsets. The resort offers a variety of accommodation including Glamping Eco Tents and Luxury Villas. There are BBQs and some cooking facilities in the villas, but the restaurant here is hard to go past. Treat yourself, the food is AMAZING!!
